Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take commissions?

Yes I am happy to discuss your art needs to work on a commission. These will depend on time and work that is already in progress. Please use the contact form to send me your requirements.

What mediums do you work with?

I work mostly with acrylic paint on canvas, board and upcycled vinyl records. These are either top coated with resin, gloss or matte varnish.

Why is my work a different colour and has texture?

There are many factors including brightness, calibration of screen, light from the environment which make a painting look a certain colour on different computer and phone screens than in real life. I try my best to describe the colours but please be aware it may come to you looking lighter or darker or even more off white than white. In regards to textures. There will always be texture in flow paintings. It is very hard to get a completely smooth look. However, I believe this adds to a unique art work. If you are looking at a vinyl record to purchase you may still be able to see the outline of the label in the middle bit in certain lights. Again this is a unique feature of upcycling this surface to use. Returns will not be accepted if you change you mind about the colour. Please ask any questions to ensure the colours are what you want to match your decor.

All art work within New Zealand is sent via courier.

For international customers if you are willing to pay for postage, customs fees and duty I am happy to send it to you. These will be sent by International Air without tracking, signature or insurance. This is a risk that the collector/buyer will have to undertake if they are in a non courier country. Please ask if you would like to know if your country has courier or air post and the price.

How much will it cost to ship?

Shipping depends on how many pieces you have purchased, how big they are and where it is being sent. If you would like to know how much it will cost before purchase please ask.

Can I ship to a P.O Box?

Not at this time.

What do you use to package the art for shipping?

I use as much recyclable material as I can. Your art may come in a box that has been used for something else before. However, I always ensure that there is sufficient packaging around your art work such as thick paper to protect against dust, bubble wrap for protection, cardboard and other inserts. If you have questions about how your art will be packed please let me know.
